I bought this book initially because I’m a fan of Cold, Lindsay and am a bass player myself. I just wanted to support Lindsay, but this book ended up coming to me at just the right time and when I needed it most. I love all the work Lindsay has put in and how she broke everything down to make it simple to understand. I have learned so much from this book and it has inspired me in so many ways. I could not recommend this book enough!
Review of UNFUCKWITHABLE by Lindsay Manfredi
Lindsay’s book is exactly like sitting down and talking with her …real, raw, and full of heart. She doesn’t sugarcoat anything, but she also makes you feel supported the whole way through.
The stories she shares are honest and personal, and the advice is straight to the point. Chapters like “Do the Fucking Work” and “Fuck Everyone Else’s Opinion” are classic Lindsay its tough love with a lot of inspiration behind it.
What makes this book special is that she’s lived everything she’s writing about. She’s been through struggles, built herself back up, and she’s proof that you can come out stronger.
Reading it feels like having your best friend cheering you on and reminding you that you’re capable of way more than you realize.

I purchased a copy of Unfuckwithable when I attended a show with her band, Cold in 2023. My first time meeting Lindsay at the band’s meet and greet. She was such a down to earth and positive presence, that I happily purchased a copy to show my support. Initially, I thought it would just be an interesting story of her life.
I didn’t realize until diving into the book how much of the book was not only her life story, but a self-help book using stories of her experiences to impart her perspective on a happier goal driven life.
Opening that book came at the perfect and most needed time in my life. I could relate to Lindsay in so many of my own struggles and goals I still wanted to achieve in all aspects of my life. It all covered changing mental perceptions, self esteem, professional goals, chasing dreams.
Along with joining Lindsay in one on one coaching sessions, reading Unfuckwithable was a fantastic enlightening experience that I’m incredibly grateful for. Reading Lindsay’s stories and taking in her advice and experiences, I really can notice the personal growth and achievements I’ve made in my own mental health journey. I credit Lindsay directly and Indirectly for some of that progress.
Amazing book, amazing stories, amazing author, amazing coach and I’m now incredibly grateful to call her a friend. I will always be rooting for her and excited to take in her future projects.
COLD is one of my favorite bands and always has been. They totally inspired me to go after my music career and write songs from the heart. After meeting Lindsay at a COLD concert, there was just something about her that drew me to her. Her energy and presence was beautiful and magnetic and I needed to know why and who this person was. I immediately looked her up online and discovered she was an author and a life coach, I ended up getting her book and couldn't put it down. I realized how similar our stories were, and it was exactly the book I needed in that moment for me to change my life for the better. My life is now a total 180 degree turn around and I owe part of that to her for inspiring me. <3
Lindsay's book "Unfuckwithable" has truly inspired me to go after my dreams and live my life's purpose. She encourages you to cut out the bs, level up, be better, do better and manifest what your heart truly desires. She breaks it down for you step by step. I love the way she is not only so honest and candid, but she's so relatable and funny as hell. I especially love the part where she talks about mom guilt, as well as her marital issues. I too have been there and it's nice to see that somebody like me also has that struggle, and how she got through it all. She sent me a signed copy, and I will cherish it and re-read it forever! I already told a bunch of friends they HAVE to get it.

I found this book during a very trying time in life. I've never been much of a self-help person but the message here is more than that. Allowing yourself to move unhindered by the behaviors of others, to truly let things slide is a powerful thing. Getting out of your own way and being genuine to the Universe will bring good things.
As a musician, Lindsay is a huge inspiration and an incredible member of COLD. Looking forward to the next show!
