I’ve also been a long time fan of Cold and have been following Lindsay on social media since meeting her at a band meet and greet.
Around November of 2024, I was struggling really hard. Parenthood, Self identity, self esteem, my physical health and the general state of the world during our contentious political environment.
Lindsay had a motivational story post on her Instagram that really hit me to my core. On a whim, I commented how I valued her words at such a hard time. To my surprise, she responded and it sparked up a dialogue where she offered to help.
I ended up having four very memorable and meaningful FaceTime video sessions with her. Lots of tears on my part. Lots of advice, support and pep talks from her. It was a profound experience which she advertised as a shotgun approach to therapy.
She was loving, tough, but always encouraging and uplifting. I always looked forward to our sessions even if I knew I was going to end up bawling my eyes out at some point during the hour. Lots of tips on how to pivot, how to retrain my thinking and mentality. A lot of pushing self forgiveness when I didn’t feel highly of myself.
What started as professional counseling sessions to redirect me out of hard time in my life, I ended feeling like I got the best pep talk from a new dear friend.
I will always be grateful for the sessions Lindsay.

COLD is one of my favorite bands and always has been. They totally inspired me to go after my music career and write songs from the heart. After meeting Lindsay at a COLD concert, there was just something about her that drew me to her. Her energy and presence was beautiful and magnetic and I needed to know why and who this person was. I immediately looked her up online and discovered she was an author and a life coach. Ah-ha! I KNEW she had something I needed.
I messaged her right away on Instagram and told her a bit about myself. I was in the middle of a divorce after 17 years of marriage, struggling as a single mom, and had no idea where my life was going. I took a 10 year hiatus from my music career and had the calling to step back into the scene, but was scared and didn't know where to start. I also felt like I was in the middle of a total spiritual awakening and needed some guidance through it all. She and I clicked immediately and were both pretty blown away at how similar we were. I know the universe put me there at the exact time I needed it, and she was the perfect person to help me.
She started doing coaching calls with me about once every week or so, and learned a lot about me and my story. She encouraged me and gave me tasks to start working on myself immediately. I started meditating, journaling, manifesting and making goals for myself. Within a few months I had a new job that was perfect for what I needed and wanted at that time. Music opportunities started opening up left and right, and inevitably I ended up meeting the man of my dreams, which was completely unexpected. A little over year later I am living my life's purpose in a house that I bought on my own- and it is PERFECT for me and my little family. I am so fulfilled in every aspect it's just crazy. My songs are now being played on the radio and I have been in studio recording on so many projects I can't keep track. I told her I really wanted to get back into writing and recording, and that is exactly what happened pretty much immediately. I am still in awe of how everything changed so drastically for the better.
My life is now a total 180 degree turn around and I owe part of that to her for inspiring me. I am so glad that I listened to my intuition and reached out to her when I did, that I decided to invest in myself and take the leap into the unknown. I knew it was what I needed. I just didn't know how life changing it would be.
Lindsay does wonderful things for people. She was born for this. If you're thinking about it at all.... this is your official sign to do it. I promise you'll have no regrets and will be in awe of the transformation that will happen in your life. And also... GET HER BOOK. For reals. Do it.
