What If You Finally Believed You Were Worthy?

What If You Finally Believed You Were Worthy?
I wanted to pop into your inbox today to share a podcast I recorded this summer with Kandiee Campbell called Awaken Hope. The episode just aired on Sunday, and I'm excited to finally share it with you!

We discuss my book, The Girl Who Cried Love, but we go even deeper into self-love, self-worth, and the importance of looking within to find the greatest love of all.

I know. It might sound cliché.

But the more time I spend talking with friends, coaching clients, and reflecting on my own experiences, the more I realize something: Most of us were never actually taught how to fall in love with ourselves in a healthy way.

Think about that for a minute.

Imagine the choices we would make if we truly knew our worth.

Imagine the relationships we'd walk away from. The boundaries we'd set. The opportunities we'd pursue. The things we'd stop tolerating. The dreams we'd finally give ourselves permission to chase.

I spent more time trying to prove my worth to people I told myself I loved than actually learning how to love and accept myself for who I really was.

And granted, people change over time. I certainly have. Even my values have changed, along with the way I show up for myself. And maybe that's all part of the journey.

I'm a firm believer that we grow the most during our darkest times, especially when we're willing to look within, take responsibility for our choices, and evolve rather than stay stuck in the role of the victim.

In this episode of Awaken Hope, Kandiee and I discuss all of these things, and why learning to recognize our own worth can change the way we experience our lives.

How different would our lives look if we stopped waiting for someone else to convince us we were worthy?

I love you,
Lindsay M.
