Self-Love Affirmations: Harnessing the Power of Positive Thinking

I mentioned in my last note to you all that I was on a serious struggle bus last week. I’m happy to say I made it through. I still have some questions in my mind about some of the things that plagued me, however, I will say that my pivots from fear and questioning to security and self-love affirmations truly made a difference in my advancement towards trust. Because no matter what, everything ultimately reveals itself in the end. We must remember to TRUST that everything is always working out for us.  

When I question certain things in my life, I often have to take the time to explore where these things come from and if they warrant my peace of mind, or if my gut instinct is telling me something isn’t right. Deep down, at the end of the day, I feel like I have a pretty good grip on my self-awareness and my needs. But when it comes to other people, I have to check myself and my intentions. I think that is where things often get cloudy. And it’s up to me to see if this works for me.

What I DO know and can tell you, is regardless of what I’m going through, I have to continually affirm to myself that I matter, and my feelings matter. I have to remind myself that I am magical. Again, this is why I wanted you to make a list, and then write a love letter to yourself.

I had my clients do this, this past week. And let me tell you what, what was shared with me was so powerful, I was moved to tears at how impactful their words to themselves were to me.

WE MUST HARNESS THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING because we get what we think about whether we want it or not. So, as we step into this powerful and beautiful new week, do not forget the power you possess to change your life by changing your thoughts.

Every morning, when you wake up this week, I encourage you to look straight in the mirror and into your eyes and tell yourself, “I love you. I love you. I love you.” Release that beautiful dopamine into your body and your space and watch how it transforms your morning. And then let me know how it goes.
