✨ Health is an Act of Self-Worth
The Way We Care for Our Bodies Tells the Universe How to Treat Us

Hi friends—

I've been thinking a lot lately about how self-worth isn't just a mindset - it's something we embody. The way we care for our bodies tells the universe how we want to be treated.

For those of you who've read my newest book, The Girl Who Cried Love, you know how I struggled with body issues for most of my life. For years, I thought being “healthy” was about how I looked. But the times I was my skinniest were also when I was abusing my body with alcohol and drugs. I was still working out, yes, but what I was putting in my body was doing far more harm than any workout could undo.

Since starting this journey of sobriety, I can't begin to tell you how much better I feel inside and out. And since so many of you have messaged me about my daily routine and supplements I use, I wanted to share it with you here.

🌞 My Daily Health Routine

There's not a day that goes by that I don't move my body. Even on recovery days, I'll take at least a 25-minute light walk. It's not about punishment - it's about movement as medicine, especially when it comes to my mental health.

Morning:
The first thing I do every morning is drink 16 oz of lemon water. No exception. If I'm traveling and don't have lemons, it's just water — at least 16 oz. I get about 70 oz a day total.

Then comes coffee — my favorite ritual. ☕️
I mix in 20g of Vital Proteins Advanced Collagen Protein and 10mg of Beam Creatine, plus sugar in the raw and half & half (full fat, of course). Because it's packed with protein, it keeps me full for hours. Then I journal gratitude and meditate. That's my non-negotiable mental reset.

Workout:
I typically move my body right after meditation. I'm not a fan of gyms - never have been. So I'm a full-on BODi On Demand girl. I started doing P90X back in my 20s and have loved their programs ever since. They've got something for every fitness level, and I love that I can log in anywhere. After my workout, I refuel with a Tony Horton Power Life Plant Protein shake and a handful of frozen raspberries or blueberries. I've used it for years, and it's still my go-to (plus it doesn't make you gassy and my band mates probably appreciate that 🙈). I also swear by Grüns Superfood Gummies  - they taste amazing and keep me feeling vibrant.

🍎 How I Eat
I eat pretty clean but still believe in balance - pizza once a week, because joy matters.

Snacks are protein-packed: cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, or an apple with cheese. Dinner is always a protein with steamed veggies. After dinner, I hop on my walking pad with a weighted vest for 20 minutes. It's great for your blood sugar levels and just feels good. (All the links for these are below. I genuinely love and believe in every product I share.)

Sleep is also vital. I aim for 7–8 hours each night, but even when I fall short, I still wake up energized because of how I fuel my body.

✨ The Pivot: From Punishment to Love
The biggest shift for me wasn't just physical, it was emotional. When I started treating my body like it was worthy of care, everything else followed. My energy. My focus. My self-respect. All of it elevated.

If you're in a season of wanting to feel better, start small. Drink the water. Take the walk. Stretch. Nourish yourself. You don't need a massive overhaul. You just need consistency and compassion.

This isn't about perfection. It's about honoring the body that's carried you through every version of yourself so far.

🩷 My Self-Love Staples
(Affiliate links below - every product I share is something I personally use and love.)

Your body is your home.
It's your temple, your vessel, your voice.
And it deserves your love, care, and respect - every single day.
Here's to feeling good in your own skin.
Because self-worth starts from the inside out.

Live hard. Love harder.

I love you.

This is awesome and I am proud of you for quitting drinking. It’s not an easy wall to break through.
